How to build a Corsi-Rosenthal box fan filter... in Europe??
This talk is about how I built a Corsi-Rosenthal box fan filter without the resources used typically in the USA.
You probably have heard of them, maybe even saw them yourself: A box, with a bunch of air filters, and a fan on the top, all tied together with duct tape. It sucks air through the filters, and purified air comes out.
This DIY air purifier, as simple and cheap looking as it might be, turned out to be more effective than the more expensive ones from brands, and has made the lives of many better. The ongoing COVID pandemic, forest fires, SMOG... many situations where you want to have one in a room ( especially with several people inside! ).
You likely searched on Internet how to build one, and then come across detailed guides, telling you all what you need and the steps required.
But then there's a small detail that you soon catch: the components required are all from Costco or other American brands, which importation would render them anti-economical.
In this talk, I will share my experience of me building one up, coming up with alternatives that we can find at this side of the ocean.
